🩷Max- School sucks. I’m bullied more often than not, whether it be pushed, pulled, smacked, punched…it doesn’t matter. I’ve experienced it all. It doesn’t help that my lenses are so thick that you can barely see my one redeeming feature, my green eyes. I may have some insecurities.

I battle each day to stay alive at school. My one reprieve is writing in my journal. If anyone ever finds it….I’ll be an outcast for sure.

👨‍🚒Adrian- As a fireman I’m used to dangerous situations. Running into a fire that’s out of control? No problem. Upsetting my Captain because I didn’t follow his orders? No problem. I might have a slight hero complex.

My curiosity has always gotten the best of me. It’s the main reason I became a fireman. When I walk in on Max writing in his journal and his deliberate need to hide it from me, it has me instantly curious. I will find out what he’s hiding from me.

But am I prepared for the truth?
