Long post but read if you can ❕ NEVER be embarrassed to make changes, show or talk about what God has done in your life, or what He means to you. Or stand for what’s right. No matter who you are!! This was me last Sunday, getting baptized again 🙌🏼 YES me. At 30 years old, married, with 2 kids and raising them in church, a Pastor’s daughter, someone who’s been raised in church her whole life… but guess what, all that don’t make you alright or saved? And yes we all fall short, none of us are perfect…BUT if we are living everyday for Jesus because we truly love him and his ways, and living everyday like he can return at ANY moment then we can live without sin.. and it doesn’t have to be this crazy “big” sin that makes you not right with God.. it’s ANY and ALL SIN! DISTRACTION is such a big tool that the enemy loves to use to get our eyes off of God and to get us to be living without an eternal mindset.. and we can fall SO easily into that and without even noticing! It is SO easy to become comfortable, and even comfortable in some sin.. and it could be because “everyone is watching it” “everyone is going” “everyone is doing it” “everyone is listening to it” etc. but guess what, we ARE NOT supposed to be like everyone! We are to be DIFFERENT!!! We are supposed to stand out! Or it could just be things you enjoy and “don’t think are wrong” or could be as simple as “a little white lie” or Gossip.. We HAVE to guard our hearts, our minds, our eyes, our ears, where we go, what we do, and everything else! And get in your Word, read and Study God’s Word.. and people may dislike you for it, hate you for it, or make fun of you for it, but guess what, that’s what they did to Jesus too!!! So I’m OK with it!! 🙌🏼 Holy Spirit, make me more like JESUS! And l am honored that God will still stir my spirit!
