🍋 FRIDAY FEELS 🤍🫶
T H I S 👆🏼
Because it takes about a year to see the beauty in the healing. The beginning of the healing is HARD. It’s raw and ugly. It makes so many emotions hit you at once because you’re about to experience things you’ve never experienced before. It’s weird and something I can’t put into words, but it’s okay.
Allow it to happen. Walk it out. Every emotion that knocks you in the face, LET THEM. Trust the process…
Because one day when you least expect it you’ll realize that the world around you is a little bit brighter.
Your pain feels a little bit softer.
You’re okay with the person in the mirror.
When this day comes don’t forget to stop and sit in this moment. Thank the Man upstairs and take in each blessing He has given you.
The next chapter is going to be beautiful… 💗☀️🌈

Healing from emotional pain is a journey that many go through, and it often starts with acknowledgment of the hurt. As Stephanie Bennett-Henry wisely notes, while the breaking can hurt deeply, the subsequent healing can reveal beauty you never expected. Embracing each emotion, whether good or bad, is essential in this transformative process. It’s vital to remind ourselves that healing is not linear; it has ups, downs, and moments of clarity that can illuminate our path forward. Taking steps to heal involves more than just waiting for the pain to fade. Engaging with practices like journaling, meditation, or even talking to someone can ease the process. These moments of reflection help us to understand and appreciate the journey more profoundly. As we process our emotions, we may find that each day brings us closer to who we are meant to be, with a clearer understanding of our own strengths and capabilities. Embracing vulnerability allows for authentic connections with others sharing similar experiences. This shared space of understanding and empathy can foster significant personal growth, enabling us to appreciate our victories more deeply, no matter how small they may seem. Each step forward is a testament to our resilience. Ultimately, as we navigate this journey of healing, we are called to celebrate the small victories and the insights they bring. It’s the acknowledgment of our struggles, and actively participating in our healing, that leads us to those brighter days. So let’s raise a toast to Friday feels, moments of gratitude, and the awareness that the next chapter of our lives will be full of beauty and encounters filled with light.
