Sexual Sin

One name. Jesus.

This guy won’t be long; you can check out the confession I posted recently.

The definition of lust is “powerful sexual desire: he knew that his lust for her had returned.”

It was fun at first, especially when you heard my story. But after years of betrayal, I understood more of the fact that Lust is still adultery. I’ve said this before: it started with a fantasy of a man, yet it continues; it began to cross over to men online. Why, when a type of betrayal happened in my relationship, I wanted to make up a man in my head who treats me better. Years later, I understand that God hates the thoughts that are in my head. It’s so hard; it took years to learn to focus on my God and give Him my thoughts.

I can’t come to Him with my heart dirty, yet coming to Him as it’s clean. He sees that it’s filthy… why am I pretending it’s pure. I go to Him how I am. Lord, Jesus Christ of Nazareth, I come to You as I am—a dirty sinner indeed of a Savior. My heart is filthy; I can’t clean it, and I can’t fix it. Yet I know You can.

It is not easy at all. It took me a long time. I didn’t start until around this week when my fantasy still shows up here and there, but it’s better. Part of me thinks better is not good enough, but my Lord is Holy, and I need to be Holy.

”You, dear children, are from God and have overcome them because the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world.“

‭‭1 John‬ ‭4‬:‭4‬ ‭NIV‬‬
