Oh, what a magical evening it was! Smitty, my beloved Corgi, and our playful Chihuahua mix were absolutely thrilled to be out enjoying the Florida breeze with me, Fiona, here in beautiful Clearwater. There’s something truly special about a Clearwater sunset that just melts away all the day's worries. As the sky painted itself in hues of orange, pink, and purple, I couldn't help but feel incredibly grateful for these precious moments with my furry family. Living in or visiting Clearwater, you quickly learn that the sunsets aren't just a daily occurrence; they're an event. Every evening brings a unique masterpiece, and tonight was no exception. Smitty, with his characteristic Corgi grin, was prancing around, sniffing the salty air, while our little Chihuahua mix, full of boundless energy, chased after imaginary critters in the sand. Their joy is truly contagious! It’s these simple, unscripted moments that make life so rich and memorable. I often get asked about the best spots to catch a sunset in Clearwater. While many flock to Clearwater Beach Pier 60 for the nightly festival, sometimes I prefer finding a quieter spot along the shoreline or even a hidden gem at a local park where dogs are welcome. The key is finding a clear, unobstructed view of the horizon. Tonight, we found a perfect little nook, just me, Smitty, and our chi-mix, watching the sun dip below the Gulf of Mexico. The reflection on the calm water was absolutely breathtaking.
