HOW I FEEL

Navigating the ups and downs of hard work can be incredibly challenging, and many of us can relate to feeling like the payoff doesn’t always match the effort we put in. For me, the journey has been full of mixed emotions—moments of motivation tempered by frustration and exhaustion. One thing I’ve learned is the importance of acknowledging the physical and mental toll that hustling takes. For example, dealing with back pain while trying to push through workdays is a reality that too many people face silently. It’s easy to overlook how much strain our bodies endure when we’re focused on meeting deadlines or earning that next paycheck. I also resonate with the cyclical nature of motivation and burnout. The idea of “work harder” can sometimes feel like an echo chamber in our minds, especially when therapy or other support feels out of reach. That’s why I believe talking openly about these challenges is critical. Sharing experiences helps us realize we’re not alone in our struggles and can open the door to finding healthier coping strategies. Even with all the hard work and caffeine-fueled days, it’s important to celebrate the small wins, whether it's being recognized as 'employee of the month' or simply surviving another tough week. These moments validate our efforts and remind us that perseverance does pay off, even if the rewards aren’t always immediate or tangible. Finally, overthinking and questioning life choices are natural parts of this journey, but they don’t have to define us. Embracing these feelings can be a source of strength, helping us grow and adapt. To anyone out there feeling this way, I encourage you to hang in there, take breaks when needed, and seek support when possible. Your hard work matters, and your well-being should too.
