Check out the states I’ve been to!

It's so fun to look back at all the places I've been! My recent post about my US travel map, highlighting the 8 states I've explored, really got me thinking about the vastness and diversity of our country. Seeing that I've touched just 16% of the USA makes me even more excited for future adventures! When you think about 'every state in the US,' it feels like such an enormous goal, right? But it's also an incredible bucket list item for many travelers. I've heard of people who are on a mission to visit all 50 states, and I find that so inspiring! There are so many unique landscapes, cultures, and experiences waiting in each one. From the sunny beaches of California to the bustling energy of New York, each state offers something truly distinct. For those of you, like me, who love keeping track of your travels, there are some great ways to visualize your progress. I love seeing my own US map slowly fill up with yellow highlights! You can use physical scratch-off maps, digital apps, or even just a simple journal. It's not just about ticking off a list; it's about remembering the memories from each place, whether it's a quiet hike in a national park or a vibrant city exploration. Speaking of favorites, it's hard to pick, but California and New York definitely hold a special place for me. California offers such a diverse experience, from the stunning Pacific coastline to the majestic Sierra Nevada mountains and the vibrant cities like Los Angeles and San Francisco. There’s always something new to discover, whether it’s a hidden beach town or a famous landmark. And New York? The energy is just electrifying! From Broadway shows to world-class museums and incredible food scenes, it’s an experience for all senses. But what I've learned is that every state, no matter how small or seemingly ordinary, has its own charm and stories to tell. Exploring them really opens your eyes to the American tapestry. My goal isn't necessarily to visit every single state just to say I have, but rather to experience as much of this incredible country as possible. Each trip leaves me with new perspectives and a deeper appreciation for the diverse landscapes and people. If you're planning your own US adventures, don't just stick to the well-trodden paths!
