Miley chilling more then ever!

Miley’s not much of a playful dog. She’s very quiet and just eats a lot and sleeps lol. She doesn’t go out side like Pablo does to do her business but she uses pads.

Does anyone have any remedies to try and get her to do her business out side? I tried training her but she just won’t listen. Sometimes she would pee on the carpet randomly. I’ve noticed she doesn’t like cold floors so sometimes she won’t get up to go use the pads because it’s cold.

Any advice would be 👍 thank you

Many dog owners face similar issues, particularly with pets that don’t respond to traditional training methods. Here are some tips that can help make the process smoother: 1. **Create a Comfortable Outdoor Space**: Sometimes, dogs resist going outside due to uncomfortable terrain or cold surfaces. Consider creating a designated potty area with some soft grass or a pet-friendly mat to encourage outdoor bathroom breaks. 2. **Establish a Routine**: Just like humans, dogs thrive on routine. Take Miley out at the same times each day, especially after meals or naps, to help establish a habit. 3. **Positive Reinforcement**: When Miley does go outside, offer praise or a small treat. This reinforces the behavior and helps her associate outdoor potty breaks with something positive. 4. **Use Training Pads Wisely**: While you’re encouraging her to go outside, continue using training pads as a backup. Make sure they’re in a comfortable spot away from drafty areas. 5. **Consult a Professional**: If training proves difficult, don’t hesitate to consult a dog trainer or veterinarian. They can provide personalized guidance and identify any underlying issues that may affect her behavior.
