Lego Friends: the Apartment part 1 of 3
This half of the Lego set took me a little under two hours to build. The whole set together will be 2048 pieces. #lego #friends #joeytribbiani #chandlerbing
Diving into the world of LEGO builds is always an adventure, and tackling the iconic FRIENDS Apartment set has been an absolute blast so far! My first two hours flew by as I pieced together the initial section, and I'm already so impressed with the intricate details. Knowing this entire set is a massive 2048 pieces just adds to the excitement – it’s definitely a project that gives you a lot to look forward to. For anyone else who's been eyeing the R.I.E.N.D.S THE APARTMENTS set or is looking for creative ways to enjoy their LEGO, I've been thinking a lot about the 'ideas to build' beyond just following the instructions. While the set itself is a masterpiece, there's so much room for personal touches once it's complete. I’m already planning how to display it! Imagine adding a custom LED light kit to really bring the apartments to life, highlighting all those tiny Easter eggs and familiar props. Or, if you're like me and also have the Central Perk set, creating a larger diorama where the characters can seamlessly move between their favorite spots would be amazing. Even simple things, like customizing the minifigures with different outfits or poses, can add so much personality to your finished display. It's not just about the build itself, but about creating a little piece of the Friends universe right in your home. Now, let's talk about the 'price' of the LEGO Friends Apartment set, because it's definitely an investment. From my experience, you're not just paying for bricks; you're paying for the incredible design, the sheer number of unique pieces, and the nostalgia factor that comes with recreating such a beloved TV show location. While prices can vary depending on where you buy it – official LEGO stores, online retailers, or even during special sales events – I always feel that the value is there for Friends fans and serious LEGO collectors. Considering it's a 2048-piece set, the price-per-piece ratio is often quite reasonable compared to other licensed sets. Plus, the joy and hours of engagement you get from the build, coupled with the impressive display piece it becomes, truly make it worth it. It’s a focal point, a conversation starter, and a fantastic way to relive your favorite Friends moments. I can't wait to share parts two and three of my building journey!
