1 Corinthians, chapter 1 summary
where we see the fruits and gifts of the Holy Spirit in that person we know the grace of Jesus is on them and working through that person’s life💓 as we wait for Jesus we are to use the gifts bestowed upon us to glorify Him so that we attract others to the kingdom. While we make the effort to keep God close Jesus will keep us firm and blameless till his arrival. 1:1-9
As bothers and sisters in Christ there should be no division, we follow one God, not man(people) whom preach for Him, we are simply vessels for his glory. It is Jesus who brought life and light to our new way of living, so kill whoever you were in the world. 1:10-17
People who are considered “wise” in the world will think believers are stupid cause we trust in what they can’t see. Anger & confusion stems from what you don’t understand; you can’t understand love without knowing the definition of love (Jesus).
1:18-19
We are simply not chosen by the standards of this world but by someone divine. Glory to Jesus for picking us even while being sinners, knowing we’d hurt him repeatedly… we should boast about how much God loves us and how great He is. Live as He does, love endlessly & teach others this worldly life is truly foolish.
1:20-31
