Friday night = Date night ✨💛
A series we like to call Date night.💛 We try to dedicate Friday’s to Date night. This date night we decide to paint each other and thought it would be easier to get a mannequin head. Welll it wasn’t 🤣😭 now we’re stuck with these scary heads looking at us at night.🤣🫠
P.s this is Danny’s first time trying CAVA and he rated it a 7.5/10.. which is pretty good because he can be picky with that type of food Lol #datenightideas #datenightideasathome #couplegoals
If you're constantly on the hunt for fresh and engaging date night ideas like my partner and I are, then you know the struggle is real! We love dedicating our Fridays to something special, and our latest adventure, a 'painting each other on mannequins' date night, was definitely one for the books. It sounds simple, right? Get a mannequin head, grab some paint, and let your creativity flow. Well, let me tell you, it was a lot harder and funnier than we anticipated! But that's exactly what made it such a memorable experience – the unexpected laughs and the challenge. For anyone considering a painting date, whether it's on a mannequin or a traditional canvas, I highly recommend it. It's such a fantastic way to unplug, unleash your inner artist, and just enjoy each other's company without distractions. To make your own 'painting each other' date a success, here are a few tips from our experience: First, gather your supplies. You don't need to break the bank! We used acrylic paints, a few brushes, and our trusty mannequin heads. If mannequins aren't your thing, a couple of small canvases work perfectly. Don't forget some old clothes or aprons, and cover your workspace – things can get messy, which is part of the fun! Second, set the mood. Put on some chill music, maybe light a candle, and have some snacks and drinks ready. We even tried CAVA for the first time that night, which added another layer of novelty to our evening. It’s all about creating a relaxed atmosphere where you can both feel comfortable being silly and creative. Third, embrace the process, not just the outcome. Our goal wasn't to create masterpieces, but to have fun and connect. Painting each other, even indirectly on a mannequin, leads to so many funny moments and inside jokes. We learned that painting on a smooth, head-shaped surface is quite different from a flat canvas, which only added to the hilarity. The result? Two somewhat 'scary' mannequin heads that now give us a chuckle every time we see them, reminding us of our unique Date Night Painting experience! And what about those mannequin heads now? Ours have become quirky conversation starters! While they might look a bit 'scary' at night, they also make for interesting background elements in our home. You could even get creative with them by adding scarves, hats, or even turning them into unique plant holders if yours end up being permanent fixtures like ours. So, if you're looking for an out-of-the-box date night that guarantees laughs and lasting memories, grab some paint and a mannequin – or even just a canvas – and create your own artistic adventure!

His Mannequin head looks like him 😂
