Nursing School Update👩🏾‍⚕️🩺

I officially completed my 2nd level of clinicals in nursing school! It’s been a challenging but rewarding journey so far, and I’m proud of how far I’ve come. This fall, I’ll be stepping into my 3rd level out of 5 and starting my OB and Pediatrics rotation—two areas I’m super excited (and a little nervous) to dive into. Grateful for every step of this process, and ready to keep pushing toward that RN title!

... Read moreAs nursing students progress through their training, each clinical level presents its unique challenges and opportunities for growth. Completing the second level of clinicals often marks a significant milestone for many nursing students, as they begin to apply theoretical knowledge in practical settings. The transition to the third level typically introduces students to critical areas of healthcare, such as Obstetrics (OB) and Pediatrics (Peds), which require specialized knowledge and skills. In OB, nursing students learn to support patients during childbirth and address women's health issues, while in Pediatrics, they develop the expertise to care for children from infancy through adolescence. These rotations not only enhance clinical skills but also involve emotional and psychological aspects of patient care, vital for nurturing relationships with young patients and their families. For those interested in pursuing a nursing career, it's essential to remain grounded and focused, as the journey can be demanding. You may find inspiration and support from fellow students and educators in this community. Many students share their experiences and offer encouragement through forums and online discussions. Leveraging these resources can provide invaluable support as you navigate your nursing school journey and work towards becoming a registered nurse (RN). With determination and resilience, you can face the challenges ahead and achieve your goal of full licensure. Remember, every effort counts, and your dedication will pay off in the end as you work toward your RN title. Keep going and remain inspired!
