7 Things To Remember

I wanted to share some thoughts on what I've learned about the things that truly bring joy to God's heart. First off, God loves a humble heart. I’ve realized that when I mess up (and let’s be honest, we all do!), it’s not about being perfect, but about how I respond. When I come to Him with a truly humble spirit, ready to admit my mistakes and learn, it feels like He's right there, ready to lift me up. Secondly, God loves kindness and compassion. Think about it – 'He will always love you,' and His love is the ultimate example of compassion. I've found that when I intentionally look for ways to be kind, not only do I feel closer to Him, but the world around me seems a little brighter too. It's like a ripple effect of His love. Then, there’s God's love for justice. This one really hits home. He wants fairness and righteousness for everyone, especially the vulnerable. Seeing injustice breaks my heart, and I believe it breaks His even more. When we stand up for what's right and advocate for those who can't, we're participating in something deeply important to Him. Another thing that resonates is that God loves a cheerful giver. It’s not just about money, but about giving our time, our energy, our talents, all with a joyful spirit. When I've given freely, without expecting anything in return, I’ve felt a profound sense of peace and purpose. It’s a beautiful way to show appreciation for all the ways 'He will always love you' and provide for us. Fifth, God loves a seeking heart. This means someone genuinely looking for Him, asking questions, wanting to understand. I’ve had seasons of doubt and uncertainty, and instead of pushing Him away, I tried to lean in and express my questions. It felt like He met me right there, proving again 'He will never give up on you' and welcomes our honest pursuit. Sixth, God loves worship and praise. This isn't about Him needing our praise, but about us expressing our gratitude and awe for who He is. Whether it's through music, prayer, or simply marveling at nature, these moments of worship help me remember the depth of His love and goodness. It's a joyful response to the fact that 'He will always love you' unconditionally. Finally, God loves when we love each other. This seems so fundamental, doesn't it? If 'He will always love you,' then extending that same love, grace, and forgiveness to our neighbors, friends, and even strangers, must truly warm His heart. It's a challenging but incredibly rewarding journey to truly love others as He loves us. Reflecting on these points has given me such a fresh perspective.
