Yall, today I have been in a state of reflection. While I constantly plug and play the pieces of putting my life back together, I think about what if I gave up. What if I would've believed all the bullshit people have said to me and about me - allowing them to get inside my head and have control over my life.
Sometimes, it seems so surreal, and boy, is it easy to point the finger at the next person... and rightfully so, but it's still my life. I'm responsible for how things turn out regardless of what is and isn't my fault. I can't give up because:
Can you imagine what it would feel like to look yourself in the mirror and experience pure bliss because you did your thing - that thing that makes you smile? That thing that makes your heart flutter?
Honestly, that's the only reason to never give up on what you believe in. Life comes with its challenges and hardships, but it will make you great. It will build character, and it will make you unbreakable. However, the one thing you can never do is give up. Because if you do, you'll never see the other side.
Winner's dont quit, and quitters don't get to experience the win, so keep going.
