He moved for me, Now I want to move for him!
My husband and I are working toward moving back to Washington State to be closer to his kids. He moved here to North Carolina for me, believing his ex-wife was relocating to Virginia to be near her family—but in an unexpected twist, she never did. Now, we’re thousands of miles away from his children, and we desperately want to change that.
The reality is, there’s no way we can afford a cross-country move on his salary alone. I would get a job, but daycare costs would take my entire paycheck, and I don’t want my youngest to be raised by overworked and stressed caregivers.
Last winter, I started a YouTube channel for several reasons. First, I wanted to document our life and create memories I can look back on. Second, like many millennials, I once dreamed of being a YouTube creator, and I finally decided to go for it. Most importantly, I would love to use this platform to help support my hardworking husband and, hopefully, fund our move so he can be with his kids again.
