Make a Salad With Me!
This is based on the Longhorn Steakhouse salad… y’know the one… really yummy and great but also a tiny bit expensive ‘cuz it’s a steakhouse… anyways yeah!
Ingredients:
•Romaine Hearts
•Baby Spring Mix
•Strawberries
•Feta Crumble
•Chopped Pecans
•Chicken Breast
•Raspberry Vinaigrette
•Ranch
I make this like every single day. So good. Of course the ranch and vinaigrette probably does a little bit of a disservice to the healthy aspects of the salad, it’s SOOO delicious and I love it!!

Okay, so you know that amazing salad from Longhorn Steakhouse that’s just chef’s kiss but also leaves your wallet a little lighter? Well, I’ve cracked the code to making it at home, and honestly, it’s become my everyday obsession! If you're looking for that perfect blend of sweet, savory, and tangy, you're in the right place. Let me walk you through how I make my favorite Longhorn copycat salad. First things first, you need a good, sturdy bowl – literally, the first step is to 'ACQUIRE BOWL'! I prefer a wide, shallow one so all the ingredients get a chance to mingle. Then, it’s all about the 'LEAVES'. I pile in a generous mix of crisp romaine hearts and tender baby spring mix. The combination gives you that perfect crunch from the romaine and a delicate texture from the spring mix, making every bite interesting. Next up, the fresh produce! This is where the salad really shines. I love adding plenty of juicy, ripe 'STRAWBERRIES'. Seriously, don't skimp here; their sweetness is crucial to balancing the other flavors. After the berries, I crumble in some creamy 'FETA' cheese. The salty, tangy notes of the feta cut through the sweetness of the strawberries beautifully. Now for some crunch! A handful of 'PECANS', chopped if they're not already, goes in next. You can lightly toast them beforehand for an extra layer of nutty flavor, but straight from the bag works just fine too. For the protein, grilled 'CHICKEN' breast is my absolute favorite. I usually have some prepped, but a quick pan-sear or even rotisserie chicken works wonders. Slice it into bite-sized pieces so it's easy to enjoy with every forkful. Finally, the dressings – this is where the magic really happens for that signature Longhorn taste! A generous drizzle of 'RASPBERRY VINAIGRETTE' is non-negotiable. If you can't find a store-bought one you love, a homemade version with fresh raspberries, olive oil, white wine vinegar, a touch of honey, and a pinch of salt and pepper is surprisingly simple and delicious. And for that extra creamy, indulgent touch that makes it taste just like the restaurant's, I add a swirl of 'RANCH' dressing. I know it might sound like a lot, but trust me, the blend of tangy vinaigrette with creamy ranch is pure perfection. Mix everything gently to ensure each ingredient is coated, and voilà! You have a homemade Longhorn-style salad that rivals the original, saves you money, and you can enjoy it anytime. It’s truly a delicious and satisfying meal!

Oh my God I butchered the spelling of vinaigrette
