Cherry Blossom Gazebo
Mojang released some Minecraft wallpapers a few years ago and I got inspired by one them and decided to recreate it in my 1.20/1.21 survival world. I'm so in love this and love how it turned out

Hey fellow Minecrafters! I'm so thrilled you're checking out my latest survival build, the Cherry Blossom Gazebo. After being completely captivated by some of Mojang's official wallpapers, I just had to bring that dreamy aesthetic into my own world. It wasn't just about placing blocks; it was about capturing that serene, almost magical vibe, especially with those iconic light pink cherry blossom trees. When I started planning the gazebo, I knew it needed to feel organic, like it had always been part of the landscape. I chose a lovely grassy hill as my spot, building up a tiered grassy base to give it a natural elevation. For the gazebo itself, I opted for a warm wooden structure, using wooden stairs and planks to create a welcoming, open space. The key to making it really shine was the lighting – those glowing lanterns hanging inside and around the perimeter really transform it, especially when night falls. There’s nothing quite like seeing them twinkle under a dark sky, and if you’re lucky enough to have an aurora borealis overhead in your world, it’s just breathtaking! Of course, a cherry blossom gazebo isn't complete without its namesake trees! I spent quite some time crafting my own big cherry blossom trees. The trick is to vary their sizes and shapes, and to use plenty of pink wool or cherry wood leaves to get that lush, full effect. Arranging them to create a full cherry blossom landscape around the gazebo makes all the difference. I even imagined a small river flowing nearby, adding to the tranquil scene. If you're thinking about a 'cherry village Minecraft' theme, a gazebo like this could be the perfect centerpiece! One of my favorite things about this build is how it looks at different times of day. In the bright daylight, it radiates cheerfulness, but as the sun sets, casting warm glows across the pink trees, it takes on a whole new, romantic atmosphere. This project has been such a journey, especially doing it all in survival mode. Gathering resources, planning the layout, and making sure every detail contributed to the overall vision – it was a true labor of love. If you’re looking for inspiration for your own Minecraft creations, especially if you love the new cherry blossom biome, I highly recommend trying a build like this. Don’t be afraid to experiment with different wood types or lighting elements. The most important thing is to have fun and create something that makes you happy in your own blocky world!
