Backroad Drives🤍

... Read moreBackroad drives offer a unique chance to disconnect from daily stresses and reconnect with nature and yourself. From my personal experience, these drives are not just about the destination, but the journey—the changing light during golden hour, the fresh air, and the simple pleasure of watching your hair catch the sun’s rays while you drive. The magic of golden hour—the time shortly after sunrise or before sunset—creates a natural, flattering light that enhances your natural glow and makes every photo look effortless. I've found that pairing this beautiful light with a relaxed mood elevates the entire experience, leaving you feeling refreshed and confident. Taking a car selfie during these drives is more than just a moment captured; it’s a celebration of feeling good and embracing your authentic self. These snapshots often become cherished reminders of carefree days and the energy of a main character moment in your own story. Adding a bit of background music, your favorite snack, and minimal distractions, backroad drives can turn into soulful mini-adventures that rejuvenate your mind. Plus, the girl-next-door energy—grounded, approachable, and real—is amplified when you enjoy these simple, joyful moments. If you haven’t tried it yet, I highly recommend planning a backroad drive timed with the golden hour. Let the sunlight and natural surroundings uplift your spirit, and don’t forget to take a few selfies to capture that natural glow and good mood. It’s these little escapes that often leave lasting impressions and bring genuine happiness.

🔥 THE UNBROKEN JOURNEY 🔥 I was drowning myself in alcohol. 🥃 It made my life and relationships full of static – restless nights, hangovers, driving and drinking. 🚗💨 It stopped me from walking in my purpose as my body became dependent on what was destroying me. I became my own enemy. 💭 Distorted thinking. 💥 Thoughts saying, “I’m not good enough.” 😔 Depression setting in deeper. They said I’d *always* be a drunk. They labeled me a bum. BUT SOMETHING SHIFTED... 🙌 When I put my *faith in God*, I became **UNBROKEN11SIX** (Romans 1:16). He gave me the strength to **RISEABOVE:UNBROKEN**, and my FAITH became **UNLEASHED** as sobriety cleared the static in real-time. ⚡ The alcohol didn’t just steal my nights — it stole my *livelihood.* 😢 🚫 Jobs lost. ⚖️ Bad decisions made under the influence. 📃 A record that still follows me today. But they don’t tell you... sobriety is just the beginning. You still wake up to the wreckage. 🪞 You still face consequences. You still have to explain that gap in your résumé, that mark on your background check. 🙏 This is where *faith, hope, and prayer* stopped being words and became *survival tools.* When employers see the record before the man... When society won’t stop labeling you... When shame whispers for you to go back to the bottle... That’s when **Romans 1:16** has to be louder than their rejection. 📖 That’s when **UNBROKEN** has to be stronger than their judgment. 💪 💎 My vision got clearer — the static started to fade. I began to *hear that voice* again... the one I used to drown out. 🚪 Doors kept closing — one after another — but that’s where *faith kicked in.* I started praying, trusting, believing... Asking God: “Open the doors that are meant for me, and if not, give me the strength and grace to keep walking with my head up.” 🙏✨ #RISINABOVEUNBROKEN #UNBROKEN11SIX #Romans116 #FaithOverFear #RecoveryTestimony #GodsPlan #SobrietyJourney
