#gettoknowme .. Hello my name is Dalacey š ā¦ Lace w. da pretty face or Lace for short lol āØ Iām a 24 year old Taurus āļø. Iām from MS but I moved to Atlanta once I turned 21 & graduated from college with a tech degree to chase my dreams of being a model ! Everything was going well ( kinda ) I meet a lot new people , made connections , walked shows , got to experience fun and new opportunities, worked a lot of different jobs from bar-tendering to management , entrepreneurship ( I do makeup ) to sharing a place with my big sister to having my own apartment in the city. I even got to go to New York walked fashion week !! ( I wish I wouldāve vlogged ) Iām an amazing chick ! Jack of all trades as you will ! Iām very well rounded and I can adjust to any and everything. Thatās one thing I love about myself is that I love to just EXPERIENCE! But ofc life happens bills .. relations .. everyday life lessons that are meant to happen so you can KNOW and to better yourself for the future. Another thing I do love about myself is that I have strong sense of self and I know who I am , but Iām not gonna yieeeeee after moving I was so ready for a new start I think I lost my self. I start becoming very insecure, making impulsive and wrong decisions, smoking a lot , wasting my money , I hopped in a mediocre relationship with a guy 10 years older than me who just made things worse for me physically and mentally.. that first apartment I had in the city .. yeah he ruined that for me I didnāt even get to enjoy it. & thatās all I ever wanted since highschool .. hell even in grade school just always couldnāt wait to have my own place and move from nothing Mississippi and move to something and become SOMETHING .. because there I knew and know there is SOMETHING IN ME .. and I was always into modeling and acting and fashion and arts and creativity, experiencing with makeup. I would be on YouTube on hours doing my makeup and different hair styles . Tumblr was my favorite app I would be on there for hours watching fashion shows and seeing iconic moments from celebrities and outfits and dreamed of being socialite .. hoping one day I can be a fashionable cool tumblr kid living the city .. being in my room on my phone and laptop all day was my escape and also my imagination and my creativity. I never had friends fr growing up ( well in my mind ) I always been a popular loner very beautiful very stylish , everybody knew me .. but I always felt so alone always felt like I was begging for friends .. just a lonely chick. The friends I did have didnāt really like me I was always the one left out and always being talked about in ways that was disguised by jokes and jealousy and etc just a horrible experience in high school I was alone everyday , didnāt talk to nobody at lunch just always had to keep my head up high and act like sh*t didnāt phase me when it did .. and then college was worse but thatās another story lol , & then home couldnāt even be my safe space because I had a toxic mother š©š©š©š©š©š© who just act like I was just the worse mistake of her mf life .. like wtf !! canāt catch a mf break she one the reasons I was so ready to live Mississippi to ATLANTA !! BUT I CAN SAY .. WHAT DONT KILL YOU MAKE YOU STRONGER .. I had to be strong at a very young age bc nobody and my back but myself. Iām a blessed shawty I am I see it but damn I got trauma yall like TRAUMA.. & itās kinda sucks when your aware of everything lol but one thing about them bulls baby ima keep MOVING FOWARD š & ima stay faithful because God always come through for me I actually do come from a family who does love GOD & family is very important so from a young age I have a good understanding of faithfulness its no point of stopping. just cry and move on .. I always thought maybe I was meant to experience things early to prepare me for what he got set up for me later .. because 2016 - 2024 has just been a ride .. but Iām starting to see the light , Iām starting to have a clear mind , Iām finding LACE again .. cus in the midst of moving , experiencing a new city , comparing myself , becoming very very insecure doubting myself like literally my worse enemy and going through my VERY FIRST relationship experienced and and mental and physical abuse .. Dalacey was gone.. everybody thought I was doing great but me yall I looked a mess Iām so embarrassed, but im never giving up on myself !! I just needed a reset . trying chase sh*t and donāt even know what Iām chasing but I got tired of trying I was tried of doing the right things š© all the odds was working against me .. my job was cutting my hrs ( couldnāt afford nothing outside of bills that š„· wasnāt helping ) nobody wanted to hire me for a 2nd job .. I felt ugly Iām already skinny I felt like bones .. ugly asf so I decided to just leave the city and the apartment like just dipped didnāt even tell the š„·.. aināt no breaking no lease boo .. found a ninja on fb dating and he moved my whole apartment out for me .. and I ended up moving back with my mother 30 mins outside of Atlanta .. I was nervous at first but now that Iām older our relationship is a lil more easy going and manageable .. i got settled , transferred to a different store .. and i said im clear my mind , getting healthier , exercise , rest , organize , save money , fix my CREDIT and GET BACK TO DALACEY !!!! THAT GIRL !! LACE WITH THE PRETTY FACE !! Which Iām seeing her , and Iām feeling her again .. we just not there yet .. HELL we not even half way there .. but thatās why Iām here .. everybody keep telling me and always been telling me to do YouTube šš© .. but for some reason I canāt get a good video .. or maybe Iām just in my head but I shouldāve and should listen cus I swear to Jesus yall I wouldāve been Jayda wayda by now š¤¦š½āāļø uhhhhh !! But itās ok !! Bc I still have time to be DALACEY and get to my full potential which is going to be found š„° .. but thatās why Iām here. I want to use this app as an outlet .. I wanna keep exploring myself while getting myself back , I wanna find my true style , my true interests , share my thoughts and feelings on topics , manifest into a young woman I can be proud of ! and I going document it and share with you GURLZ š„° cus you never know who you may inspire or help or vice versa .. cus when I express myself on TikTok people seem to relate and itās like a community of love šš & you see that your not alone ! I told myself Iām starting fresh fr .. I already deleted all my photos from the year 2021-24 those cringey moments where I didnāt love myself and looked so like no myself .. Iām done buying CHEAP SHIT .. ( shout out to SHEIN ) but itās time to stop lowballing myself itās time to invest and things I deserve it I DESERVE THE BEST ! I DESERVE nice things !! I DESERVE TO KEEP MYSELF UP ! I DESERVE TO BE AROUND WINNERS ! I deserve to be around women and men who want to uplift each other Iām tired of surrounding myself with women who treat me as a back up friend or im more of friend than them. FRIENDSHIP IS IMPORTANT TO ME ! I deserve LOVE because I am love and I carry myself as a queen and I should be treated as such ! No more weirdos .. no more trying it for the plot if you not in my standards you wonāt get NOTHING FROM ME not even a like on the gram .. just this chapter of my life is called ..
