My OCs come from different species like Tringolo, Circolom, and Nartrio, which makes their designs stand out, yet they share familiar human emotions and behaviors. For example, Popote is silly and loves playing the guitar, while Mina enjoys makeup and playing the clarinet, highlighting their diverse hobbies. In my experience, giving each OC a distinct personality and backstory makes them more interesting and gives me inspiration for storytelling or art. It’s fun to imagine how these characters interact, like Pepito’s insecurity contrasting with his silly side or how Pepita’s kindness and volleyball hobby bring her closer to Mina. These character dynamics add depth and realism even within a fantastical setting. Designing OCs from other worlds also allows me to explore different cultural and biological traits, such as how their species might shape their abilities or outlook on life. Incorporating elements like unique birthdays, favorite activities, and relationships (like best friends and lovers) helps flesh out their individuality. If you enjoy character creation, I recommend blending fantasy with relatable human traits and letting your imagination run wild to build compelling worlds and narratives.
