Good Morning Fellow Humans

Good Morning Fellow Humans!!! 😊 I know that everything is uncertain, and our voices are tired, do not let them stop your gifts. ✊🏾 Rise up and connect, ask questions, be uncomfortable for a minute standing in your truth. 🫶🏾 Right now Food Banks and Donation Centers need us. Volunteer!!! ✌🏾I am challenging myself to have a volunteer position by the end of the week. Take small steps, because a lot of us don't volunteer because we are running kiddos or there is an insecurity or like in my case a combination of both. I will stop getting freezing angry and become encouragement and fight that fear of "what if I'm not enough... too much... too black... too..." I am enough and as long as I take the steps to getting outside myself I will be able to help my community. There are our elders, children, veterans, mothers, fathers... and as long as I can move aside the right opportunity will arise. Will you join my challenge and tell the food bank, clothing bank, "I am here to help once a week indefinitely". Again start small and do not overwhelm yourself because that causes burnout. We will be able to do more when it is time. Happy Wednesday Fellow Humans. You Are Not Alone! 🙏🏾

... Read moreVolunteering is a powerful way to connect with your community and make a tangible difference in the lives of people around you. Many of us hesitate to volunteer because of busy schedules, personal insecurities, or fear of not being enough. However, starting with small, manageable steps can help overcome these barriers and build lasting impact. Food banks and donation centers are often in urgent need of support, and even dedicating a few hours once a week can serve as a meaningful commitment. Taking action to help others not only supports those in need—such as elders, children, veterans, mothers, and fathers—but it also nurtures our own mental health by fostering purpose and connection. Facing uncomfortable truths and confronting fears like "what if I’m not enough?" is a courageous way to grow and contribute. Remember, volunteering doesn’t require grand gestures; consistent, small contributions accumulate into significant help for your community. Start by identifying local food banks or donation centers and reach out to express your interest in volunteering consistently. By committing once a week indefinitely, you create reliable support for these essential organizations. This gradual approach prevents burnout and allows you to balance volunteering with your daily responsibilities. Additionally, encouraging friends and family to join you can amplify your positive influence. Sharing your journey, challenges, and triumphs inspires others to take part. Together, we build a resilient community that uplifts each individual and responds to uncertainty with collective strength. Remember, you are not alone in this. Taking steps to serve and support enriches both your life and the lives of others. Embrace the challenge, start small, and watch your efforts grow into profound change for your community.
