tonight, i am a bit tired after work. so, i just wanted to make this short n’ sweet little intro to my dogs for y’all!
zoey is an 11 year-old german shepherd; she’s my big ole’ lady!! 🤍 she has been my best friend since i was 10 years old. she’s a little slower now with her old bones, but she still watches the house when my family is out and doesn’t like it when people hug me for what she thinks is too long (even my mom 😭). when we first brought her home, we had a 3 year old chihuahua who helped raise and guide her who looked very similar to her, and now all zoey does is wanna be a lapdog. 🥲 she’s massive though… most female fully grown shepherds are much lighter than her at 50-70 lbs… she’s 100 lbs. not overweight, just born a big girl! 🤣
christian is a 10 year-old chihuahua; he’s my lil’ dummy and favorite menace. still acting like he’s less than a year old, he LOVES to play, whether it’s with a human or zoey. besides christian, he goes by many names, such as “snort”, “scoot”, “lil’ man”, “big boieeee” (emphasis on the “eeee” at the end), and many more. he is only at about half of what a chihuahua’s life expectancy is, and with him bein’ perfectly healthy, he will be here to stay and making my days more interesting all the time. 🤣 fun fact: he has a split tongue! we don’t know when exactly that happened, we assume when he was still very young and maybe roughhousing, but one day he was panting and we noticed his tongue looked funny. little did we know we had a little snake dog, lol.
these babies have been best friends since the day we introduced them (zoey 1 y/o, christian 4 months old). i am so thankful to have grown up with them and that they have each other and their beautiful yet odd friendship. 🤍
