It really comes down to the application. If I need a constant stream of data, especially audio or high-speed file transfers, Bluetooth Classic is my go-to. It’s built for that sustained connection and higher data rate. But for almost everything else in the IoT world – my smart lights, my weather station, even my smart pet feeder that just sends occasional updates – BLE is the clear winner because of its incredible energy efficiency and quick, short bursts of information.
