I feel like there’s a lot of expectation on being friends. I totally get as a person who enjoys a small circle I want to be able to appoint each others postings or ask advice stuff like that really a lemon8 community and help boost each others posts.
I think a lot of us could really go far and I’m not asking for blindness. If my content isn’t for you that’s completely fine 🫶🏽 zero hate here at all ! Everyone has their group of people and I’m just not that person for you I’m good with that and you should be to, it works both ways if I really like your content I’m gonna follow and like and engage. This app still doesn’t have a bunch of people on it and what I think is what happens when this app takes off so you want to be one of the people trying to get started with everyone else or be part of the blueprint. I mean that in the least cocky way possible 😭
I don’t expect friendships truly I don’t it don’t bother me but i definitely love supporting one another ✨
... Read moreHey Lemon8 fam! I've been seeing a lot of chatter about 'mutuals' and what that really means for our community here. It's totally understandable why so many of us are searching for answers – the definition can feel a little fuzzy sometimes, right? From my perspective, being 'mutuals' on Lemon8 goes way beyond just following each other. It's about fostering a genuinely supportive network where we actively engage with each other's content, lift each other up, and help our posts get the love they deserve.
Think of it this way: when I see someone consistently sharing amazing content, whether it's their "grwm" routines, insights into "mom life," or beautiful "gardening" tips (like the inspiration I get from so many of you!), I want to show them love. And I hope they feel the same way about my posts! It’s that reciprocal energy – liking, commenting thoughtfully, and even sharing – that truly builds a strong #lemon8community. It’s not just about boosting numbers; it’s about creating a space where we feel seen and heard.
So, how do we find these amazing mutuals and build our own supportive circle? From what I've learned, it starts with being authentic and consistent. Share what you're truly passionate about. If you're into fashion, show off your unique style, like that cool blue, white, and red jacket I saw someone wearing in a post recently – unique style really grabs attention! If you're a foodie, share your best recipes. Don't be afraid to post about your daily life, your hobbies, or even your struggles. Relatability is key!
Next, actively engage with others. Don't just scroll by! Leave genuine comments that show you've actually read or watched their content. Ask questions, offer encouragement, or share your own similar experiences. This opens the door for real connection. Using relevant hashtags like #mutuals, #lemon8community, #supporteachother, and #discoverpage can also help others who are looking for genuine connections find you.
I've personally found that the more I engage authentically, the more amazing people I connect with who truly resonate with my content. It's a two-way street. If you love someone's vibe, follow them, engage with their posts regularly, and don't be afraid to reach out. Sometimes, a simple 'Let's be mutuals!' comment or a direct message can spark a wonderful connection. We're all here to grow and share our journeys, and having a supportive squad of mutuals makes the Lemon8 experience so much richer. Let's keep building this incredible platform together, one genuine interaction at a time!
