Pt 5!

Hey Toca Boca fam! So glad you're here for Part 5! I know how much fun it is to bring our favorite characters to life in Toca World, and I've been experimenting with some really iconic ones lately. If you're like me, you love diving into the character creator to make unique avatars, and sometimes, taking inspiration from pop culture just makes it even better! Let's talk about creating the perfect Barbie in Toca Boca. When I think of a 'TS Barbie doll flavor,' I imagine something super chic, fashionable, and maybe a little bit retro yet modern, just like a certain pop icon would embody a Barbie. For Barbie, it's all about the hair. Go for long, flowing blonde locks, maybe even with some waves or a high ponytail. Next, pick out the most stylish outfits – think bright pink dresses, sparkly tops, or even a chic swimsuit for a pool party scene. Don't forget the accessories! A tiny handbag, sunglasses, and maybe some chunky jewelry can really complete her look. I love setting up a 'dream house' in Toca Boca for her, with lots of pink furniture and glamorous decor. It’s so satisfying to see her come to life! Now, onto my Stranger Things inspirations! Creating Steve Harrington in Toca Boca is a blast, especially getting that perfect hair. His iconic coiffed hair is a must – search for styles that offer volume and a slight flip. For his outfits, you have a few options. You could go for his classic high school look with a collared shirt and jeans, or even better, his Scoops Ahoy uniform! The striped top and sailor hat are instantly recognizable. If you're feeling adventurous, you could even try to replicate his Family Video outfit. Adding a little bat accessory (if you can find something similar!) would be a fun nod to his character arc. I always try to place him in a cool hangout spot or even a mall setting for some fun roleplay scenarios. And of course, we can't forget my favorite, Max Mayfield! Capturing Max’s vibe is all about her skater-girl aesthetic and cool demeanor. Her signature red hair and practical, comfortable clothing are key. Look for hoodies, striped shirts, and jeans. If you can find a beanie or headphones, definitely add those – they scream Max! And the most important accessory? A skateboard! Toca Boca has some great outdoor areas where you can set up a skate park for her. I love imagining her cruising around new towns in Toca World, exploring with her friends. It's so cool to see how well she fits into the Toca Boca universe. Creating these specific characters isn't just about making them look right; it's also about the stories you can tell with them. You can set up fun roleplay scenarios, recreate scenes from their worlds, or even imagine them going on new adventures in Toca Boca. Sharing these creations with friends online, maybe even on platforms related to the Toca Boca community, is super rewarding.
