... Read moreThe period from birth to three months is crucial for a baby’s development. During this time, infants undergo significant physical milestones including growing strength in neck and head control. By the end of the first month, many babies start to recognize familiar voices and show brief head lifting during tummy time. By 2 months, they become more aware of their surroundings and can focus better on faces and movements. Notably, they exhibit better control of movements and may begin to open their hands more frequently. By the third month, babies can track moving objects with their eyes, smile in response to caregivers, and may even babble or coo, demonstrating early communication skills. Furthermore, emotional development is evident as babies show preferences for certain people and react with smiles or excited movements. Parents are encouraged to celebrate each little milestone while understanding that every child develops at their own pace. If parents ever have concerns about their baby's development, consulting a pediatrician is always recommended. These foundational milestones set the stage for future growth and learning, making the early months an exciting time for bonding and discovery.
