Baby toys for DEVELOPMENT 🚼

I love engaging baby toys that aren’t just fun and entertaining for them, but they’re also helping them achieve developmental milestones!

my toddlers are a little bit older now (almost 4 & 2 1/3) so we don’t own these anymore but I used them constantly when they were in their baby stage.

The busy bee was one of their top favorite toys! & as older babies (18 months) because it’s so engaging, it lights up and plays music & they lived chasing it around.

Next time you’re looking for new toys for your baby make sure you get intentional toys that are going to help your baby develop skills in one way or another.

... Read moreChoosing the right baby toys can significantly influence your child's developmental progress. Toys that encourage crawling, such as the Skip Hop Farmstand push & spin and the Follow-Bee crawl toy, provide more than just entertainment — they help build essential hand and arm strength needed for muscle development. These toys often have features like music, lights, and movement that attract babies to follow and chase, promoting gross motor skills. Additionally, fine motor skills begin to develop with toys like the Sassy Ring Stacker, which requires babies to grasp, stack, and manipulate pieces. This type of hands-on play helps strengthen fingers and coordination, foundational for later skills like writing. For toddlers transitioning to walking, interactive toys that roll or move independently motivate them to practice walking and balance. Using toys with bright colors and melodies can capture a child’s attention and encourage active play. When selecting toys, consider those that combine sensory stimulation with skill-building—such as multisensory rattles and toys that light up and play music. These features provide auditory and visual stimuli that enhance cognitive and sensory development. To maximize developmental benefits, rotate toys regularly to keep your baby engaged while targeting different skills, such as motor development, sensory exploration, and problem-solving. Intentional toy choices can make playtime a constructive and fun experience that supports your baby's growth every step of the way.
