No Pencil?!No Worries
Sometimes I like to warm up before I start a bigger drawing or painting, or sometimes I just like to doodle with no pressure. I find it hard to focus on letting loose if I have an eraser because I overthink every line and whether or not I should erase it. Sometimes you just gotta ball off the lines you already put down lol. I am working on a big painting of dogs playing poker and I used this technique to loosen up enough to transfer the smaller piece onto a bigger canvas lol #doodling #art #drawing #lemon8diarychallenge
When it comes to warming up before starting a significant piece, many artists find that using different mediums can help enhance their creative flow. Instead of reaching for a pencil, consider substituting it with pens or markers. This approach not only allows for a more carefree drawing process but also pushes you to embrace imperfections that can lead to surprising results. The essence of art lies in exploration, and warming up can set the tone for your artistic journey. Additionally, engaging in doodling sessions can work wonders for both your mental state and your hand's dexterity. It provides an opportunity to let go of the pressure to create a masterpiece, instead focusing on letting your ideas flow organically. Find a comfortable space, turn on some inspiring music, and let your creativity sweat it out. Remember, the goal is not to produce a finished product but to have fun and connect with your inner artist!
