7 Oreo cookies roughly chopped, regular stuffed (NOT DOUBLE STUFFED
INSTRUCTIONS~
Preheat the oven to 350F, then line a baking sheet with parchment paper or silpat.
In a medium bowl, cream the butter and both sugars together. I did so using my spatula.
½ cup butter, ½ cup brown sugar, ¼ cup granulated sugar
Add in the vanilla and egg and mix everything is smooth and well incorporated.
1 egg, 2 teaspoon vanilla extract
Add in the dry ingredients over the wet ingredient mixture, starting with the flour, corn starch, baking soda, and salt. Stir just until combined.
1 & ⅓ cup flour, 1 tablespoon corn starch, ½ teaspoon baking soda, ½ teaspoon salt
Fold in the M&M's, and Oreo pieces then using a large cookie scooper (¼ cup- 4 tbsp), scoop our the cookie dough to create 10 equal cookies.
⅔ cup Valentine's day m&m's, 7 Oreo cookies
Place them on the prepared baking sheet and bake for 13 minutes. Don't worry if they look underdone or gooey in the middle. That's what we want, they will continue to bake even after you pull them out of the oven to cool. Use a larger cookie cutter to swish the cookies around as soon as they come out to make them perfectly round.
Cool on the cookie sheet for 5 minutes then transfer to a cooling rack.

Okay, so you've just whipped up a batch of those incredible Oreo M&M cookies – or you're about to! I wanted to share some extra tips and tricks that I've picked up along the way to make your cookies absolutely perfect, and maybe even inspire some fun variations. Baking is all about experimenting and finding what works best for you! One of the best things about these cookies is that irresistible chewy texture. To really nail that, starting with slightly softened butter is key – not melted! It helps create that perfect creamy base for your cookie dough. And remember how the recipe says don't worry if they look underdone? Seriously, trust the process! Pulling them out when they're still a little gooey in the middle is how you get that soft, melt-in-your-mouth center once they cool. Those golden brown edges are the perfect indicator that they're ready to come out. Let them set up on the hot cookie sheet for a few minutes before moving them; it makes all the difference. While the Valentine's Day Oreo M&M's cookies with their festive pink, red, and white M&M's are adorable and delicious, these are so versatile! You can totally swap out the M&M's for any holiday or occasion – green and red for Christmas, pastels for Easter, or just classic primary colors for any day. For the Oreos, I love the regular stuffed ones for that perfect crushed Oreos bit, but have you ever tried mint Oreos? Or even golden Oreos? Each gives a unique twist to your oreo and m&m cookies. Don't be afraid to experiment with other additions too, like white chocolate chips, chopped nuts, or a sprinkle of sea salt to balance the sweetness. These small changes can really elevate your homemade cookies. Let's talk about the m and ms cookie dough itself. This recipe creates a fantastic base. If you have any leftover dough, or just want to taste-test (who doesn't?), remember that raw flour and eggs aren't typically recommended for eating. However, you can find many safe edible cookie dough recipes online if that's something you're craving! For this dough, chilling it for at least 30 minutes before baking can actually intensify the flavors and prevent spreading, giving you that beautiful, thick cookie with a lovely soft, chewy interior. This is a pro-tip for almost any cookie dough you make! Ever had cookies spread too much or turn out too dry? If they spread, your butter might have been too soft, or your oven temperature could be off. An oven thermometer can be a real game-changer! If they're dry, you might have overbaked them (remember that gooey center!). Using a kitchen scale for flour can also make a huge difference in consistency, as scooping can pack it down too much. Accuracy in baking often leads to better results. These cookies are amazing warm, right out of the oven with those scattered M&M's beckoning. They're also perfect for sharing! Pack them in cute little boxes for friends, family, or your special Valentine. They stay fresh in an airtight container for about 3-4 days, or you can freeze the baked cookies (or even the dough balls!) for a quick treat later. Imagine pulling out some cookie dough for fresh oreo m&m cookies anytime! Making these cookies is such a rewarding experience, from gathering all the ingredients for Valentine's Day Oreo M&M's cookies to taking that first bite. Happy baking!
