Quad and glute day 🙌🏻
Full workout in video
@Ken it’s ups
From my experience, focusing on both quads and glutes in one session provides a balanced lower body workout that benefits strength and aesthetics. Starting with a 5-minute incline walk is a great warmup to get the blood flowing and prepare your muscles for heavier lifts. I’ve found that bodyweight squats are a perfect transition before progressing to weighted exercises like hack squats and leg presses, especially using the high stance to emphasize the quads. Including single leg extensions and walking lunges ensures that each leg is worked independently, helping address imbalances and improving stability. The abductor exercises taken to failure are excellent for targeting hip muscles critical to overall glute development. Incorporating decline crunches at the end helps engage the core, which is essential for supporting heavy leg lifts and maintaining proper form to prevent injury. A full workout video like this one can be really motivating and informative, especially when training at a well-equipped facility like Gold's Gym Tennessee. Tracking reps such as 2x10, 1x8, and 1x6 on hack squats allows you to progressively overload and keep challenging your muscles. Consistency and progression are key. Don’t underestimate the importance of warming up properly and including unilateral work like single leg extensions and walking lunges. Over time, these exercises will improve your muscle endurance, strength, and definition in the quads and glutes.
