My Collection Complete
Just recently made it my mission to collect all the Naruto Happy Meal Toys from McDonald's as this is one of my favorite animes. I didn't see what the big deal was until a friend made me watch it. If you haven't watched it I recommend you do. #toys and anime figures #naruto
Okay, so I just shared my excitement about finally completing my McDonald's Naruto Happy Meal toy collection, but I wanted to spill all the tea on how I actually did it and why it meant so much to me! If you're a fellow collector or just curious about these cool anime goodies, buckle up. First off, let's talk about the toys themselves. When McDonald's released these, I knew I had to get them. There were several different figures, featuring iconic characters like Naruto in various poses, Sasuke, Sakura, Kakashi, and sometimes even some of the villains or supporting cast. Each one had its own little gimmick – maybe a spinning feature, or a movable limb, or just a cool display stand. They weren't just static figures; they had personality, which really captured the spirit of the anime. I remember the thrill of unwrapping each Happy Meal, hoping it wasn't a duplicate! The journey to complete the set wasn't always easy. I definitely visited a few different McDonald's locations, sometimes even asking if they had specific toys in stock (they usually don't, but a girl can dream!). There were a few weekends where my diet consisted mainly of Happy Meals, all in the name of my mission. My friends got a kick out of it, and sometimes they'd even join me, hoping to nab a toy I didn't have yet. The worst part was getting doubles when you're so close to finishing the set – the struggle is real, right? But the satisfaction of finally unboxing that very last character I needed? Pure joy! It felt like I'd just aced the Chunin Exam myself. My love for Naruto really fueled this mission. Before my friend convinced me, I was a total newbie. But once I started watching, I was hooked! The story of Naruto, his journey from an outcast to a hero, the strong bonds of friendship, and the incredible ninja battles... it's just so inspiring. Having these little figures on my shelf is a constant reminder of those epic adventures and the growth of the characters. It’s more than just plastic; it’s a piece of that world I fell in love with. For anyone thinking about collecting future McDonald's anime collaborations or even trying to track down these Naruto ones, here are a few personal tips. First, start early! These things fly off the shelves. Second, don't be afraid to trade with friends or check online collector groups – sometimes someone has that one figure you’re missing. And honestly, just enjoy the process. It's not just about the end goal; it's about the hunt, the nostalgia, and the fun of it all. Now that my collection is complete, they're proudly displayed on my anime shelf, right next to my manga. Every time I look at them, I get a little spark of happiness and remember all the fun I had collecting them. It’s a small thing, but it brings me so much joy. What collections are you guys working on?
