Trying the Coach Coffee Shop in Austin, Tx!
Hey coffee lovers and fashionistas! I recently popped into the Coach Coffee Shop in Austin, TX, and I just had to share my full experience. You know me, always on the hunt for unique spots, and a Coach-branded coffee shop definitely piqued my interest. Especially since the original article was so brief, I wanted to dive deeper into what makes this place tick. First off, stepping inside, I immediately understood what was meant by "I love the new layout of the store!" The aesthetic is exactly what you'd expect from Coach – chic, modern, and surprisingly cozy. It’s a beautifully designed space that feels both high-end and welcoming, perfect for a quick stop or even to get some work done. The atmosphere alone makes it a pleasant place to hang out, and it definitely encourages you to “shop while you wait” as some of the signage suggests, blending the retail and café experiences seamlessly. Now, onto the most important part: the coffee! I decided to try a few things to get a good feel. My husband went for the Macchiato, and his immediate reaction was that it “was sour.” That was a bit of a bummer. I opted for something more adventurous, a Latte, and I also got to sample their COACH DRIP BLEND. While the latte was aesthetically pleasing, I found myself agreeing with the sentiment, “I don't taste that much coffee.” It really tasted more like a rich, chocolate milk-infused drink, which isn't necessarily bad if you prefer a sweeter, less intense coffee experience, but it wasn't the strong, robust coffee kick I sometimes crave. They also have classic options like ESPRESSO, AMERICANO, CAPPUCCINO, and FLAT WHITE, so maybe a simpler choice would have highlighted the coffee more. Beyond traditional coffee, they offer a fun range of specialty drinks. The SMORES LATTE sounded intriguing, and they also have MATCHA LATTE and CHAI LATTE for those who prefer non-coffee options. There's even a BLACK TEA. But the real standout for me, which I noticed on the menu (and was very excited to see), was the SOFT SERVE! How cool is that for a coffee shop? It’s a definite must-try if you’re looking for a sweet treat. And speaking of treats, they have a small but tempting selection of pastries. I saw CROISSANTs, a delicious-looking BLUEBERRY MUFFIN, and classic CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIEs. These are perfect complements to your drink, whether you're grabbing breakfast on the go or just need a little something sweet. Overall, the Coach Coffee Shop in Austin is a unique destination. If you're a fan of the Coach brand, appreciate a beautifully designed space, or are looking for a fun spot with interesting drinks like their Soft Serve, it’s definitely worth a visit. Just manage your expectations if you're a hardcore coffee snob, as the coffee itself might lean more towards a milder, sweeter profile. For a stylish coffee break and a chance to immerse yourself in the Coach vibe, it’s a delightful experience in ATX!
I would love one of those in NOLA!!
