Someone needs to read this ‼️🚨

There’s a time and a place to get lean and consume less calories and still train HARD. However, being in a cut is NOT sustainable for a long period of time and sometimes it is NOT the healthiest for you, or what your body needs.

Before cutting - check with yourself!

Before entering a cut it is so important to be mentally prepared and physically ready. This means you have a healthy mindset and healthy approach towards your body goals, and your body physically has room for a cut. (You cannot be “cutting” if you have already been cutting your calories/ eating less - aka cutting calories from a deficit)

Cutting can also affect your hormones - being more in tune with your body is more important than challenging it. If your hormones are not well- balanced, you are not ready for a cut as this will throw off your hormones even more. Challenge your body from a healthy place!

At the end of the day - you cannot win a challenge if you are already losing.

Listen to your body, ladies!

... Read moreWhen it comes to cutting, many individuals rush in without understanding the potential consequences. Planning is crucial; ensure you are not already in a calorie deficit before starting drastic cuts. This approach not only helps in managing weight effectively but also in maintaining hormone balance, which is critical for overall health. Also, a healthy mindset is essential. Engaging in positive self-talk and realistic goal setting can empower you to embrace the process rather than see it as a punishment. Consider incorporating holistic practices, such as yoga or meditation, to foster body awareness and mental resilience. Moreover, stay attuned to your body’s signals. Signs of fatigue, irritability, or hormonal imbalances (like irregular menstrual cycles) can indicate that your body needs more support. Proper nutrition, including adequate calories and nutrient-rich foods, can ensure your body remains balanced. Engaging in balanced strength training vs. excessive cardio is also paramount; both should complement one another for effective weight management. Finally, consider consulting with a nutritionist or fitness expert who can tailor a plan that suits your needs, ensuring you prioritize health over rapid weight loss.
