What’s in my diaper bag?? 🤔
I don’t know HOW some of you keep it so minimal! Your cute crossbody purses and such. I love it, I’m jealous! There are just too many “what ifs” for me!
BASICS
- diapers (2 kids in diapers ☹️)
- wipes
- changing pad
- tissues for their faucets we call noses
- diaper cream (Boudreaux’s max strength only!)
- cotton swabs to apply the diaper cream. I ain’t touching their butt 🙅🏼♀️ and I hate those spatulas.
MEAL ESSENTIALS
- shirt bib has saved many a shirt from mac and cheese stains
- dechoker ‼️ it calms me so much knowing this is with us at all times. You hope you’ll never need it but the way my kid refuses to chew food ..
- pouches: yogurt, fruit/veggie, applesauce. You know. All my toddler will eat basically.
- sticky placemats: as someone who has worked in the food service industry for over 10 years, I promise you I do not care that your kid made a mess of the table. We have to clean it anyways. However. I’m also very aware of how well some of those tables get cleaned .. 🤫 so I don’t want my kid eating straight off of them tbh
HYDRATE
- burp cloth
- toddler water (I love this bottle with a straw so much. No leaks, don’t have to tip it backwards)
- formula, water for same, and bottle. I bring the whole can usually due to this fear that I’ll get trapped out with them somewhere and be left with an inadequate pre portioned amount. Also yes I just use bottled water. I don’t heat it. She’s never cared it’s not warmer than room temp.
JUST IN CASE
- change of clothes: a necessity you find you need the hard way 💩
- toy for distractions
- hair tie/clips for the toddler. I don’t bother doing her hair before we leave the house anymore. She takes it out on the car ride.
