Some of you moms …

… are VERY good at being moms.

I truly admire all of you moms that crush it every day at making the coolest meals and having planned and structured activities for the kiddos. I am not one of those moms and I really get caught up sometimes trying to be. Today I did so many things with my kids that they love to do, and we had so much fun. Reminder to those of you who might be like me who try try try to give them “the best” when really all they want is your time.

Many moms feel the pressure to create the perfect environment for their children, striving for Pinterest-worthy activities and meals. However, it's essential to realize that the simplest moments often hold the most significance in a child's life. Activities like bubble baths, exploring new sensory experiences, or even just spending time talking about their day can create lasting memories. Embracing the beauty of ordinary days reinforces the bond between mother and child. Research shows that children thrive on emotional connections more than elaborate plans. Engaging in playful activities, like using Snapchat filters for fun or exploring new sounds, fosters curiosity and creativity. Remember, you don’t have to put immense pressure on yourself to be the perfect mom; just being present, even in the messiness of everyday life, makes all the difference. Allowing children to discover their own interests and passions is also vital. These small moments, filled with love and laughter, ultimately shape their development and well-being.

aww sweet friend, just know that you are the perfect mama to your kiddos ❤️ they look up to you & adore you & everything you do. I know it can be so tough not to compare ourselves to others, but try to avoid that as much as you can & just be proud of yourself & where you are in your motherhood journey 💗
