🧸 My 6 Month Old’s Favorite Toys

(Last slide is very important to see!!)

Just a few of my 6 month olds favorite toys!

She seems to like sturdier, more solid toys than soft ones.

This twisty toy is from Walmart and she’s obsessed with it every time she sees it.

The pizza crinkles until it’s sopping wet from spit and then it gets swapped lol it’s so gross.

Fake remote I got because if she’s anything like her sister she’s gonna want the real one soon enough. But this is easy to grip and she’s not constantly dropping it like other toys.

Ok & this monkey teether?! At the wrong angle it looks so angry, and the manufacturer decided it needs nipples and a booty?!

What kinds of toys do your babies love the most? Soft, stuffed ones? Sturdy plastic? Things that aren’t actually toys? lol

... Read moreAs parents, choosing the right toys for our babies is essential. At six months old, babies like my daughter start developing preferences for toys based on texture, shape, and functionality. Sturdy toys often win out over soft ones, as they provide better grip and stimulate sensory exploration. Toys like twisty designs encourage fine motor skills, while crinkly textures captivate their attention, as seen with the popular pizza toy in our household. Fake remotes have gained popularity with parents, mimicking the real thing while allowing infants to interact safely. It's also crucial to consider teethers that combine fun designs with functionality, like the monkey teether mentioned. Many parents find that toys that look like ordinary objects offer immense play value. Learning what types of toys your baby prefers can lead you to discover what helps develop their skills and keeps them engaged. Engaging with your child and observing their reactions can guide future toy purchases. Have you noticed what toys your little one is attracted to? Join the conversation and share your thoughts on this topic!
