💅🏽 Cheap Beauty Finds at Five Below!
It’s becoming increasingly clear that since having kids I have no time or money for pedicures anymore! So I’m gonna do what I can for myself at home ☺️
The nail buffers are actually decent! One block works great at filing. The other says it has 3 textures but it really doesn’t and is only good for shining.
The cracked heal stick did work but it seems to be a temporary fix. It is a travel balm, so it does immediately clear up visible issues but since it’s a balm it is thick and slippery so I’m not sure I’d recommend it being used as intended. I tried it over night with socks on and I think it did fix some of the minor issues for now. I noticed after it actually has a ⚠️ warning on it for cancer/reproductive dangers. Which is like yikes but also some of the foods I ingest are questionable so. 🤷🏼♀️
Pumice stone - essential replacement! Self explanatory.
The foot pads are something I’ve been wanting to try for a LONG time. It says to use them 5 nights in a row (totally did not) but after one night all it did was melt the charcoal pad down over time. My feet didn’t look or feel any different even after immediately removing. I had a feeling these things were scammy but I tried and now I know!
With the rising costs of salon treatments, many are turning to affordable alternatives at stores like Five Below. This retailer offers a range of beauty products aimed at those seeking budget solutions. Popular picks include nail care items, foot pads, and cracked heel sticks. While nail buffers can provide decent results, users should remain cautious regarding product warnings, especially with balms that may pose health risks. Consider exploring additional items that encourage circulation and help reduce sore feet, making self-care not only affordable but also enjoyable. Other beauty enthusiasts have reported mixed results with foot pads, often questioning their effectiveness after just one use. It's best to approach these products with realistic expectations. Moreover, try incorporating easy home remedies, such as DIY foot soaks or scrubs, to enhance your self-care routine alongside these finds from Five Below.
