Bag wall!!
I have more in storage 😭 #bag wall #bags💼 #purse #pursecollection #purses
Have you ever frantically searched for your favorite purse, only to realize you have no idea where you last put it? 😩 We've all been there! That "where's my purse" panic is real, and it's exactly why creating a dedicated storage solution, like my bag wall, has been a game-changer for me. It's not just about looking pretty; it's about making sure every single bag, from my special orange crocodile-texture bag to my everyday black buckle bag, has a home and is easy to find when I need it. Before I started my bag wall project, my purses were in various states of disarray – shoved in closets, piled on chairs, or even sometimes still in the shopping bag! Not only did this make finding the right accessory a headache, but it wasn't great for the bags themselves. Delicate pieces like my cream beaded bag or that gorgeous white iridescent sequined bag could easily get crushed or dusty. That's when I decided to get serious about organizing my collection. Creating a purse wall has honestly transformed my daily routine. Instead of rummaging, I can instantly see all my options, whether I'm reaching for my thrifted 'SEQUINS BAG' for a night out or my beloved 'VINTAGE VERA BRADLEY' for a casual day. Here are a few tips I learned along the way to help you create your own functional and fabulous bag storage: Declutter First: Go through your collection. Do you still love and use every single bag? For those you rarely use, consider dedicated dust bags or a neat storage box in a less accessible spot. But make sure your most-used bags, like that 'INDIAN BEADED BAG' from Marshalls or your 'HONORABLE MENTION' from TJ, are front and center. Choose Your Display Method: I love using sturdy hooks for my wall, as it allows each purse to hang freely and maintain its shape. You can also use shelving for more structured bags or clear acrylic dividers within shelves for clutches like my black embroidered clutch. Protect Your Bags: Even on display, bags can accumulate dust. Consider using open shelving only for frequently used items or placing more delicate pieces, like that 'BEBE VINTAGE' bag, in clear dust bags that still allow you to see them. Stuffing bags with acid-free tissue paper or purse shapers also helps them keep their form. Categorize (Optional but helpful!): You might want to group bags by color, size, or occasion. This makes it even easier to grab exactly what you need. For instance, all my smaller clutches might be together, or all my black bags. Having a well-organized system means no more "where's my purse?" moments. It's a joy to be able to see my entire collection and easily pick out the perfect accessory for any outfit. Plus, it makes my space feel so much more intentional and chic! I highly recommend giving your purses a proper home – they deserve it!
