are the VIRAL mogu mogu drinks worth the hype?? 🤔‼️
Are the viral Mogu Mogu drinks actually worth the hype? 🤔
For those who don't know, Mogu Mogu is a flavored drink that comes with nata de coco (coconut jelly) pieces inside. I honestly thought I was going to hate the texture, but I was surprised to find that I actually really enjoyed the chewy pieces inside! 😋
🍍 Pineapple: Definitely the best of the three I tried! If I were to buy these again, this is the one I’d choose.
🍊 Orange: A typical artificial orange taste, but it had a bitter aftertaste that I wasn't a fan of.
🍇 Grape: My least favorite. It tasted just like grape medicine, definitely a no for me.
Everything else aside, I did love that they have a cute little face on the lid, such a nice touch!

Have you tried Mogu Mogu?
Trying Mogu Mogu drinks for the first time was quite an eye-opener for me, especially because of the unique addition of nata de coco, or coconut jelly pieces. Many people might hesitate at the thought of a beverage containing chewy jelly, but in my experience, this textural contrast actually adds an enjoyable twist to the drink. In my exploration, the pineapple flavor truly stood out as the most refreshing and well-balanced choice. The natural sweetness paired with the chewy nata de coco made it feel like a tropical treat. It’s worth mentioning that each Mogu Mogu drink contains about 180 calories, so it can be considered a light indulgence. The orange flavor was a bit of a mixed bag. While it mimicked the classic orange soda taste, it had a slightly bitter aftertaste that lingered. For those sensitive to artificial flavors or astringency, this might be a turnoff. However, some might still appreciate the familiar citrus profile, especially paired with the coconut jelly. The grape flavor was my least favorite by far, reminiscent of grape-flavored medicine rather than a sweet soda or juice. This off-putting medicinal taste made it an easy skip for me. Aside from the flavors, one charming feature deserving recognition is the cute face design imprinted on each lid, which adds a playful and collectible aspect to the product — a small but appreciated detail in packaging. If you want to try Mogu Mogu drinks, you can often find them at international markets or specialty grocery stores like Jungle Jim’s. They’re reasonably priced around $1.95 per bottle, making them an affordable treat for those curious about viral beverages. Overall, if you enjoy flavored drinks with an interesting texture, especially pineapple, Mogu Mogu is definitely worth a try. For those less adventurous or sensitive to artificial aftertastes, it might not be the best fit. Have you tried other unique drinks with nata de coco? I’d love to hear about your favorites and how they compare!
