Garlands Can Be Expensive
Something I don’t see a lot of people talking about when it comes to Christmas decorating is the cost of GOOD garland.
I’m speaking strictly from my own experience, but garlands can get pretty expensive, especially when you’re looking for quality, length, and fullness. Even when you choose less expensive options, you’re still going to spend a little money.
I knew I didn’t want anything skimpy for my porch. I wanted fullness, length, and something that would actually make an impact.
So, I decided to combine two different garlands from two different stores: Menards and Walmart.
I’ll be honest. I was pretty disappointed with the garland from Menards. She was almost BONESLESS! 🤣 It was put together rather haphazardly, and I had to spend quite a bit of time fluffing, rearranging, and working with it to make it look decent.
Now, the Walmart garland? THAT GIRL WAS A MUCH BETTER DEAL! The quality and quantity were noticeably better, and honestly, I think you could get away with using just one of those.
But y’all know me. I like FULLNESS! I prefer a thicker look, and I wanted the extra length to make a statement on my porch.
So, if you’re shopping for garland this Christmas season, don’t just look at the price tag. Pay attention to the density, length, and overall quality.
Sometimes spending a little more upfront is worth it. And sometimes, combining two different products gets you exactly the look you’re going for.
GOOD LUCK, Y’ALL!!! 🎄❤️
