🎈making birthdays magical (on a budget)

I wanted their day to feel special not because of how much we spent, but because they felt seen and celebrated.

When the twins woke up, their teddy bears were waiting outside their door with party hats and balloons. They ran through streamers laughing and hugging their bears. Honestly the best $3 I’ve ever spent. 🐻🎈

Then came a donut breakfast with candles (they blew them out at least 5 times 😂). Later, I let them each pick out a toy at the store. Nothing fancy, just something they loved.

We spent the rest of the day doing all their favorites: playing outside, reading books, opening a few gifts, cupcakes after dinner. Simple, slow, and full of things they love. 💛

Sometimes the smallest effort makes the biggest memories. ✨
