Netflix "The Polygamist"

😱 This series started off slow, but it was so worth seeing it through. This was a great example of a narcissistic and over sexual husband and how women allow men 🙄 to take from them, among other things. I enjoyed it.

Initially, the pace feels slow, which might deter some viewers, but staying with it offers a rewarding experience that highlights important emotional and psychological themes. The show vividly illustrates how one person's narcissistic tendencies and oversexual behavior can deeply affect others in the relationship. It made me think about the subtle ways people can allow negative behavior to continue in their lives, often out of love, fear, or confusion. This series encourages viewers to reflect on boundaries, self-worth, and the importance of recognizing manipulative patterns. What stood out most was the powerful depiction of the women's journeys—how they process their experiences and gradually reclaim their voices. These portrayals feel authentic, making the story resonate on a personal level. For anyone curious about the dynamics of toxic relationships or interested in character-driven narratives, this series offers a mix of drama and psychological insight. If you’re like me and appreciate shows that reveal the complexities of human behavior without rushing the narrative, The Polygamist is definitely worth the watch. It’s a reminder to pay attention to relationship dynamics and to understand the importance of self-awareness and empowerment in difficult situations.
