Most people only know Gary for MJ 🎤 + steel mills ⚙️… but there’s sooo much more! Here’s my little adventure 👇
Side-note: full honesty… my trip technically started 25 minutes east in Michigan City because I can’t resist a good lighthouse + scenic drive combo.
My first “real “ stop was the Lubeznik Center for the Arts—a small, free museum with a BIG punch. Their current all-women’s exhibit? Chef’s kiss. A must-see if you’re in the area. 🎨
🌊 Miller Beach > Chicago beaches (yes, I said it). Clean dunes + calm vibes.
🍷 Lake Street – murals, a wine bar, brewery & quirky shops.
🔥 Jerkmaica food truck – jerk chicken heaven. 10/10.
🌟 The Sparkle House – closed when I went but still worth a drive-by!
