Just 35 - 65 minutes (depends on where in the city you’re coming from) from Chicago, Miller Beach offers 3.5 miles of sandy shores and stunning views of the Indiana Dunes National Park.
Whether you’re into beach walks, birdwatching, or catching a sunset, this spot has it all. Plus, explore the vibrant Lake Street district for local art, cozy cafes, and unique shops. 🖼️☕🛍️
It does cost to park at the beach. I think it was about $3 an hour, but don’t quote me.
Now, I can’t say it’s lively beyond the summertime but, it’s definitely a spot to check out!
