Mall of America
Cool place. Who’s been?
Wow, I just had the most incredible trip to the Mall of America! Seriously, if you've never been, you have to add it to your bucket list. Before I went, I thought it was just a giant mall for shopping, but boy, was I wrong! It's an entire destination packed with so much entertainment and unique attractions. My first stop, and honestly, one of the highlights, was Nickelodeon Universe. Imagine an indoor theme park right inside a mall – it's wild! I rode the roller coasters and took some amazing photos. It's perfect for families, but even as an adult, I had a blast. Then, I explored the SEA LIFE Aquarium. Walking through the underwater tunnel with sharks and sea turtles swimming overhead was truly magical. It felt like a mini-vacation within my mall visit! For something a bit more interactive, the Crayola Experience was surprisingly fun. I got to make my own crayon and unleash my inner artist. And if you're looking for a thrilling ride without leaving the ground, FlyOver America is a must-try. It's a simulated flight over some of the most breathtaking landscapes in the US – so immersive! Beyond the attractions, the food scene at MOA is fantastic. From quick bites to sit-down restaurants, there’s something for every craving. I grabbed a delicious burger at one of the many eateries and recharged before my next adventure. Here are a few Mall of America fun facts that I learned: Did you know it's the largest mall in the United States, covering 5.6 million square feet? Or that it's so big, seven Yankee Stadiums could fit inside? It even has its own zip code! It's mind-boggling how much is packed into this one place. For anyone planning a visit, definitely grab a Mall of America map online or when you arrive. It’s huge, and you’ll want to plan your route to make sure you hit all your priority spots. It's super easy to get to from Minneapolis, making it a great day trip or even a weekend getaway. Trust me, you'll need more than a few hours to truly experience all the amazing things to do at MOA. It truly lives up to its name as the Great Mall of America; it's an experience unlike any other!
