You Don't Need More Time. You Need A Start

I used to tell myself,

"Maybe next month when work is less busy." "Maybe when Little Bae is older."

"Maybe when life settles down a bit."

But as a working mum, I realised something. 😅 Life never really slows down. There will always be work to do, laundry to fold, meals to prepare, bills to pay, and people depending on us.

If I kept waiting for the perfect time, I would probably still be waiting today.

Be it just few minutes during lunch break.

Be it just that little time after Little Bae went to sleep. That was the timing I had when I start building my Digital Space.

Sometimes the biggest difference between people who achieve their goals and those who don't is simply this, one decided to start.

Is there something you've been wanting to do, but you're still waiting for the "right time" to begin?

... Read moreAs a working mum myself, I completely resonate with the struggle of finding time to start new projects amid a whirlwind of daily responsibilities. At first, I was constantly putting off my dreams, telling myself I’d begin once the workload lessened or my child grew older. But life kept moving, and those perfect moments never came. What finally helped me was shifting my mindset to focus on what I could do right now, even if it was just fifteen minutes during lunch or after bedtime. It’s amazing how much progress can be made with small, consistent efforts when you stop waiting for ideal conditions. Building your digital space or any new venture doesn’t require hours of uninterrupted time starting out. Instead, it calls for intentional small steps and leveraging your current schedule creatively. For example, I scheduled short bursts of work during commutes or utilized early mornings when the house was still quiet. This flexible approach allowed me to gradually grow my side project without neglecting family or work. Additionally, connecting with communities of fellow working mums and digital entrepreneurs can provide motivation and practical advice. Sharing experiences and strategies helps break the isolation many of us feel and reminds us that we’re not alone in juggling many roles. The key takeaway is simple yet powerful: start now where you are. Momentum builds with action, no matter how minor it seems. Waiting for a less busy time or a perfect set of circumstances often means waiting forever. Make use of the moments you have, and watch your goals come within reach. If you’re hesitating because of a packed schedule or life’s unpredictability, try focusing on achievable micro-goals and celebrate each small win. This approach makes the journey less overwhelming and more rewarding. Remember, every major achievement starts with a single step—take yours today.
