Finally. Reading Feels Wonderful Again

Got a few new piercings this month 🤍 also I started taking pics with my Kobo Libra Color and I can’t stop because like, I remember a time where I preferred a good book over a good movie/show and I had lost that preference for the longest time. It was as though I stopped reading and developed an atrocious attention span right after I started relying on social media for my entertainment.

It took a couple years of trying and trying again to focus, to enjoy reading, TO NOT PICK UP MY PHONE AND SCROLL but it finally happened. I finally started reading for hours at a time again! And it doesn’t feel like work. It feels like how it used to be when I was younger: exciting, relaxing, fun!

Whew, at 35yo I can safely say that it feels good to once again get absorbed into a love that I thought I lost after my early twenties.
