haha funny when they drop 🥶...
Seriously, has anyone else had those moments in Fallout 76 where you just have to stop and laugh out loud? This game, for all its post-apocalyptic seriousness, has a way of being absolutely hilarious! I wanted to share some more of my own funny experiences because the original post just scratched the surface of the wasteland's comedy. One of my absolute favorite things is when enemies do the most bizarre 'drops' after you defeat them. I swear, sometimes it’s like they’re performing a gymnastics routine on their way down! Just last week, I was using my Furious Multi-Shot Slow-Burning Cremator against a Super Mutant Behemoth, and when it finally went down, it rag-dolled off a cliff and landed perfectly upright in a dumpster! I literally snorted. It wasn't just a kill; it was a performance art piece. The physics in this game can be a wild card, turning routine combat into a slapstick comedy. You never know if an enemy will just crumple, fly across the map, or get stuck in some ridiculous pose. Then there are the glitches. Oh, the glorious glitches! My Survival Tent has been the star of many such moments. I remember trying to place it down near a scenic overlook, and for some reason, it decided to spawn halfway through a rock formation. My character was then stuck inside the rock, peeking out like a shy mole! It took a fast travel to get out, but the mental image of my character awkwardly clipping through solid stone was priceless. Another time, I tried to inspect/repair some armor inside my tent, and the animation glitched, making my character T-pose while furiously hammering at thin air. It's these little imperfections that sometimes make the game so endearing and memorable. And let's not forget the random NPC antics. I once saw a Protectron trying to 'patrol' by repeatedly walking into a wall, turning around, and walking into the same wall again. It was like watching a robot existential crisis. Or the time a Scorchbeast got stuck on a tree branch, flapping its wings furiously but going nowhere, looking less like a terror of the skies and more like a giant, grumpy bird caught in a net. What makes these moments even better is sharing them. I've found that the more you play, the more you start to anticipate these funny quirks. Keep an eye out for odd enemy movements, bizarre item placements, or any time a game mechanic decides to take a coffee break. They're often the source of the best laughs. So, next time you're scavenging the ruins or battling a horde, remember to look for the humor. It's everywhere if you know where to look! What are your go-to funny Fallout 76 glitches or unexpected moments? I'd love to hear them!
