Bad Spider-Man

We all have those Fortnite moments, right? You're in the zone, everything feels perfect, and then BAM! You make a play so questionable, you just want to vanish into thin air. That's exactly what happened to me the other day, and let me tell you, it was a truly 'bad Spider-Man' moment. I was rocking my favorite Miles Morales skin, feeling invincible, swinging through the map with that sweet momentum. I spotted a player with a crown, and my competitive spirit kicked in. It was a perfect setup for a sneaky ambush, or so I thought. I decided to try to outmaneuver them, swinging around them, trying to get the perfect angle. But I guess I played with their crown around the wrong player, because my timing was completely off. Instead of landing a clean hit, I landed right in front of them, completely exposed. They didn't hesitate, and I was eliminated in seconds. I was so upset, not just because I lost, but because I knew I messed up a perfectly good opportunity with a really 'bad' move. It felt like a total facepalm moment, and I could practically hear my teammates sighing. It got me thinking about all the ways playing as Spider-Man or Miles Morales in Fortnite can lead to some truly epic fails. Sometimes you web-swing right into the storm, or accidentally detach too high and take massive fall damage. Or maybe you try to use the web-shooters for a quick escape, only to grapple onto a tiny twig and get stuck. Watching 'Fortnite clips' of players making similar blunders always makes me feel a little better, knowing I'm not alone in my moments of gaming clumsiness. It’s part of the learning curve, I guess.
