I don't know if I can pronounce it properly but this is Me. When everyone wanted to go to the beach I wanted to go to the mountains. My grandmother went cross country east to west (by car) with my father's brother's family and she would send me postcards and almost every one contained the words"oh the mountains." Two years later I had the opportunity to cross country as well. Tales of the trip took hold and the next trip was a convoy of 3 families. I went to the original Disney Land before any other exited. I attended the World's Fair in NYC. In school it wasn't until my junior year of high school that girls were not required to wear a dress. Oh My I have gone on so and admittedly I realized it along the way but couldn't stop in my recollections of a time I had not thought about for a long time. Like a lost but not forgotten lover they stay with me. Calling me home.
